Spring Writers’ Rendezvous

There’s just a hint of Spring in the air now, so it seems a good time to announce a date for the Writers’ Spring Rendezvous.
Meeting on the evening of Thursday 8th March, from 7.30pm, at the Two Brewers pub in Rochester High Street. As those who’ve been before will know, it’s an informal gathering for chatting and networking. But feel free to bring along some of your writing if you want to (it is far from compulsory though!) and any like minded friends or family.
There should be a lot to talk about, with some exciting new opportunities for Medway’s writers over the course of this year.

Hi! I am a member of the RNA New Writers’ Scheme living abroad and will be visiting family in Kent, on and off, from 12th May til possibly 3rd June this summer. I just wondered if there are any workshops or anything else of interest which I might attend while I am over.

In Bexley just up the A2 the Rob Knox Film Festival will be taking place from 29th May through to 6th June On the Saturday 2nd June we have a number of workshops led by professionals visit our Facebook page for more info. On 29th, 30th, 31st May and 1st June we have screenings.

Also, there’s a Zine reading at coFWD, 161 High Street, Rochester on 12th May, I shall post the details of that shortly, and also another Writers’ Retreat in the same location, coFWD at 161 High Street Rochester, on 27th May. Likewise, I shall be putting the details on hopefully by this weekend
