With university fees putting off a lot of people who may have thought of taking a course, Medway Adult Education has put together an ‘Introduction to Journalism’ programme, running for 10 weeks from February 22nd next year. That’s a Wednesday evening, 7pm – 9pm at Rochester’s Eastgate Centre.
It’s aimed at complete beginners but I’ve booked into it all the same, since I’ve never had any journalistic training (apart the section in the creative writing course with Philip Kane) and have actually been making it all up as I go along!
You can check out the details here and if you decide to do it, I’ll see you there 🙂
via Gillingham Library http://www.medway.gov.uk/leisureandculture/libraries.aspx Hello there,
We have some interesting books in the library to support your journalism course. Cupcakes and Kalashnikovs : 100 years of the best journalism by women edited by Eleanor Mills with Kira Cochrane is an interesting read…
