The lovely Sarah Jenkin, Community Librarian for Medway Libraries, has created a webpage, Creative Medway, which brings together all the creative networks in the area.

Sarah is encouraging the various groups locally to connect and has put together a listing of all the magazines and networks she can find. Please share with anyone you know and update her with any that need adding.

Sarah says: “I’m hoping that soon we’ll be able to include the details about this history of creative people and creativity in Medway, but that’s dependent on work I’ll be doing with the archives centre. There is such a rich history in Medway, including but not confined to Dickens and I’d like to make sure that it’s accessible.”

There will be an informal social get-together for all the creative networks in Medway, probably around July next year and most likely on a Saturday afternoon at Strood library hall. Full details will be confirmed in due course but in the meantime, do contact Sarah if the library can do anything to help promote your group.
