UCA ( University of the Creative Arts) in partnership with Kent based film company, Violafilms, are running a four day summer film course aimed at young people aged 14-18.
The course will involve students working to create a new 3 part web series, Mechanical Me based in the Medway Towns, involving Intrigue, Androids and Murder! No experience necessary just enthusiasm, commitment for the week and a real interest in being involved.
It’s a great opportunity for young people to learn new skills from a talented team including student ambassadors studying at UCA at the moment and HAVE FUN! It’s all completely free of charge and can offer ideas for participants to maybe follow up various courses and opportunities in the future at UCA. It’s open to all Year 10-12 students with an interest in anything from make up and costume to writing and directing.
The course will run between 23rd and 27th July and places are limited. Applications need to be submitted no later than Friday 22 June and if you need further information, please contact Loreta Jarvis UCA on 01634 888796 or ljarvis@ucreative.ac.uk
