Following on from taster sessions in September, Medway Libraries and the University of Kent offer beginners the opportunity to develop their writing skills.
The taster sessions take place at Chatham Library from 10am-12 noon on Monday, 12 September, and at Rochester Library from 12.30-230pm on Tuesday, 13 September.
Developing your voice, a 6 week follow on course takes place next year:
Chatham Library from 10am-12 noon on Mondays: 5,12,19,26 June, 3 & 10 July 2017
Rochester Library from 12.30-230pm on Tuesdays, 18, 5 Apr 2017, 2, 9, 16 and 23 May 2017.
All of these courses are for adults and are free. They do get popular though it’s best to reserve a place by calling 01634 337799 or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.

I did this and the follow-on course a few years back. I strongly recommend it to all aspiring local writers. The experience is superb and it is also FREE. So get signed up asap!
I did this ‘Finding your Voice’ course and the follow-on ‘Developing your Voice’ a couple of years ago. If you love creative writing and want to improve you must sign up for this brilliant, FREE, tutorial.
Are you going to re-run this course as I am interested in help with my writing.
Hi Beryl, I’m sure Medway libraries or Adult Ed will be doing something but you will need to contact them for details. I did the Adult Ed creative writing course 10 years ago now and it definitely sent me on my way 🙂 Jaye.
