Author, poet, artist and storyteller Philip Kane has been active on the Medway arts scene for over thirty years. Among other projects during that time, he has been a community arts worker for Arts in Medway, and Artistic Director of Storytellers Live – a storytelling club for adults – as well as of the River Roots festival. His newest book is the poetry collection Unauthorised Person (Cultured Llama, 2012).
Sam Fentiman-Hall is an award-winning playwright whose plays have been performed internationally. She founded Kent writing collective ME4Writers, and playwrights’ organisation 17Percent. Sophia Beeby & Luke Fraser
Sophia Beeby and Luke Fraser are an acoustic folk duo based in Guildford. They have been playing and writing together since January 2014, drawing on experience writing and performing. They joined forces, experimenting with writing collaboratively and improvising vocal harmonies. With influences such as Civil Wars, First Aid Kit and Regina Spektor, the duo have a vocal driven sound, with moving lyrics and powerful harmonies.
