Live’n’Local: Introducing Bill Lewis

poster cover one

Of course, Bill needs no introduction to Medway, not really!

One of the near legendary Medway Poets Group alongside Billy Childish, Bill has performed his poems in Europe and the Americas and been published in magazines, journals and anthologies all over the world.

In addition, Bill has been broadcast on television and radio on both sides of the Atlantic, as well as appear at numerous literary festivals. He was the first Writer-in-Residence at the Brighton Festival in 1985.

One of the original 13 founder members of the Stuckist Movement, Bill has since gone on to share the ideas and theories that have emerged from Remodernism.

We’re delighted Bill is joining us again, following his brilliant ‘The Hero’s Journey’ talk at our first festival. Come along to Sun Pier House on Sunday, October 11 to hear this award winning poet, author and visual artist talk about his life, influences, travels, reading and writing. He will also read a selection of new and old writing.
