51:st Voyager Film Festival Submissions still open


Medway ‘OPEN PROJECTOR’ – 17 Nov 19:30 till 22.30pm
Nucleus 272 High Street, Chatham, Kent ME4 4BP.
Submit by Saturday Nov 10th to secure a slot otherwise just come along, bring your DVD or a .wmv, .mpeg 1/2/4, .mp4, h.264 file of your film in USB and screen it to a live audience. Running time of films preferably below half hour.

Submissions are OPEN till Saturday Nov 10th

Submissions to the Medway Programme
We are looking for a diverse selection, specifically including the following:
Open – Documentary, Experimental, Art Cinema and more.
Single screen and expanded cinema formats
Performance/live events, (film, video, sound)
Sound installations
Feature length work for a traditional cinema setting
Experimental shorts from 30 sec to 30 minutes in length.
Note: for video the preferred submission format is HD h.264 codec at 1280x720p @2-3 MBps, otherwise submit an export of your film from the timeline without any re-compression. Write to a DVD data disc or USB.

If you are interested in submitting, please request a submission form via email and send this, once completed, with a link and/or some pictures for preview, together with a brief outline of the work, title, running time and if it contains over 15/18 content.

51:Zero° Voyager is a Medway and Kent festival proposing a programme of film, video and digital media arts including screenings, exhibitions, ‘Open projector’ for artists and filmmakers, discussions, talks and workshops. The 2012 edition is running events in Whitstable, Maidstone, Rochester and Chatham.
