We were very heartened by the response to our first festival in 2013, and hope we can continue to delight you again this year, and beyond.
We couldn’t do what we do without the support of our audiences, volunteers and venues, and this has led us to develop a supporters’ club, of sorts. Thus, the Friends of the Rochester Literature Festival has been set up, partly to raise some much needed funds to kick start this year’s programme, but also offering benefits as a ‘thank you’ to those who make it all possible – you!
The membership fee is just £12 per year and will allow Friends to enjoy the following benefits:
- Free entry to a ticketed festival event (Advance booking will still be required to secure)
- Priority booking on all festival events (Advance booking will still be required to secure)
- An exclusive, annual members’ only event
- A link on our sponsors page
- Inclusion in a special ‘Friends’ list on Twitter so we can share your updates
The Friends only event will be free and include a workshop and a performance, plus an open mic session for any Friends who wish to share their own work. It will also offer networking opportunities with like-minded people, and an opportunity to tell us what you thought about the festival, which will help shape and inform the following year’s events.
